Ren\u00e9e McCauley is a professor of computer science at the College of Charleston (CofC). where she has taught computer science at the undergraduate and graduate levels since 2000. She holds the Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana. She is involved in computer science education efforts internationally. She is \u00a0a member of the ACM SIG Governing Board Executive Committee and is the immediate past chair of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE). She is a member of the CofC Advisory Committee for the Computing in the Arts program and co-PI for NSF TUES I and TUES II grants in support of that program.
